That was the magnificent decade when Stan Lee invented what is known today as the Marvel Universe. The problem is, at least talking about myself, they are really interested only in the short years of 61 to about 1970. People buying this book are mainly interested in Marvel.

Roy interrupted his work on the Lee book to produce it. Now, since Marvel and Lee are more or less synonymous (to me, and surely to Roy Thomas), the question must be asked, is this book really necessary? I am afraid, I am not really sure.Īctually, the 75 years book was a second thought. Okay, it is limited and has a Lee autograph. Not a very long time ago Roy Thomas and Taschen gave us the magnificent Coffee table book 75 Years of Marvel.
